How long will insurance cover my stay in the facility?

Your insurance will determine how long they will cover the stay based on the amount of rehabilitation and skilled nursing you require. Insurance is required to give a three day written notice when they are no longer going to cover your stay. Insurance is verified upon admission.

How often will I receive therapy?

Therapy works with our skilled residents up to 6 days per week.

Will I have a roommate?

Almost all of our rooms are two bed rooms so it is likely that you will have a roommate during your stay.

What are the visitation rules?

  • We do not have set hours. We do ask that visitors respect the quiet hours when most of our residents are asleep.

  • We do not limit the number of visitors in general. During the health emergency we have been requested to keep the number of visitors per resident to a minimum.

  • There are currently no vaccine requirements for visitation. We request visitors to self -screen for signs of illness before entering the building. Masks are required when in the building.

How am I update on my progress while in the facility?

The facility will schedule a care conference after you have been here, and a plan is established. The participants include nursing, therapy, social services, and other departments as needed.

Is there transportation available for my doctors’ visits?

The facility has a van available to transport to local appointments as needed.

Will I have a phone in my room?

The facility does not have phones in every room, however, we do have portable phones for the residents’ use. We encourage the use of personal cell phones.

Is there a t.v. in my room?

Every room in the facility has a television in the room.

Is there wifi in the facility?

Wifi is available in the facility.

Will I have access to a beauty salon?

The facility does have a beautician who comes in, to style hair. Any resident can set up an appointment. Prices available on request.

What type of clothing do I need to bring?

  • Walking shoes with no skid soles.

  • Loose fitting, comfortable, easy to use clothing appropriate for working with therapy.

  • Label your clothing to avoid loss. o Laundry is available in the facility or families can elect to do their own laundry.

Can my physician follow me in the facility?

Our facility has a medical director who sees our residents, however, your primary care doctor is able to follow you here if they wish to do so.
